The Library Assistant serves under the Branch Manager and is responsible for assisting with the day to day operation of a branch of the Sullivan County Library System in accordance with the policies established by the Sullivan County Library Board of Trustees.
The position is part-time and the library is open Monday-Saturday, 9AM-5PM.
Some evenings may be, and some Saturdays will be required.
A high school diploma is required; a college degree is preferred.
Experience required performing basic accounting transactions and general office administrative duties and familiarity with technology; library experience preferred.
Salary is based on education and experience.
This position is 24 hours per week.

We have installed plexiglass shields at all service desks and recommend face coverings for staff and patrons.
